I love “I Dream of Jeannie” because her whole existence revolves around loving Major Nelson and making him happy, and because Major Nelson treats her like a little girl and never gets cross at her for all the trouble she causes. I love it because it reminds me of us. I shouldn’t have to apologise for this, and I don’t.
