I find it so disheartening that many women, including me, are guilty of not loving themselves enough, and that someone as beautiful as Elizabeth Taylor could still fall victim to the same mentality.
I was reading about a society for women in India who have survived acid attacks. A ten year old girl had rejected a proposal from a 25 year old , and had been attacked as a result. When questioned about the incident , she said “He has taken my away my beauty on the outside, but he can’t take away my beauty on the inside”
In the future I’m plan to use this thought as one big reality check.
